We believe that every child should have access to a high-quality education, regardless of their family’s finances.
Our personalized tuition model ensures that an education at Primer is in reach for every family.
Tuition at Primer operates on a sliding scale, primarily based on household income. We’ll work with you to qualify for state scholarships to reduce tuition costs as much as possible. Additionally, Primer offers additional scholarships to further assist families who meet the criteria. Our goal is to ensure that every student has access to quality education, regardless of financial circumstances.
In order to determine your family’s contribution, we’ll work with you to understand your finances and develop a personalized tuition package to make a Primer education possible for your family.

Tuition covers every student's Chromebook and technology setup including essential resources like books, supplies, and materials. Before and aftercare options are available for an additional fee. Please inquire for specific details.
Tuition is as personalized as the Primer experience. We’ll first set out to understand your family’s financial circumstances. We’ll consider all state scholarships your family is eligible for as well as what you personally think you can afford. You may find the tuition calculator above helpful in calculating an estimate.
Your family’s out-of-pocket contribution can either be paid upfront in full or completed in 10 monthly installments. Funds from state scholarships, like ClassWallet and Step Up, are paid quarterly.
State scholarships vary by state and are determined by your child's specific needs. In Florida, the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC) and Family Empowerment Scholarships (FES) are available to families through Step Up for Students, with an average scholarship between $6,000-9,000 per student. In Arizona, Empowerment Scholarship Accounts (ESAs) are available to families and processed through ClassWallet, with an average scholarship of $6,000 - $8,000 per student. All students who have applied have received funding.
There is no fee to apply to Primer Microschools. Once you're ready to secure your child's spot and confirm your enrollment, there is a one-time, non-refundable fee of $100.
We know life happens. We also know the importance of consistency in education and not disrupting your child’s day-to-day when other changes take place. If your family’s financial circumstances change, let us know, and we will work with you to make sure attending Primer remains possible. Our team is dedicated to collaborating with you, exploring options, and developing a plan that makes Primer’s educational experience accessible to your family.
